Our rigorous testing regime, which includes pressure and bubble assessments, is always used to test strength of our seals but this time we took things a step further and, as you've seen, neither squeezing the bottle, standing on it, or hammering it could break the seal!

This robustness is essential for navigating today's intricate logistics and fast-paced online retail environments. For example, our seals are able to withstand air freight pressures to -80,000Pa. FORDS' sealing solutions ensure product integrity from the manufacturing line to the end consumer, instilling confidence every step of the way.

What makes this all the more impressive is that the application of a FORDS foil cap requires minimal top forces (approx. 80 newtons) and absolutely NO torque to achieve a strong seal suitable for today’s complex supply chains.

This facilitates the use of fewer materials and less energy throughout the production process as well as lighter weight goods in transit resulting in a dramatically decreased carbon footprint.
